Auditions are NOT just for ACTORS!

Each production requires numerous and varied tasks.  Our need for help ranges from one night of bartending during the run of a show(approximately 3 hours of your time), to helping build sets on the stage, to production staff / actors who would be involved in a production from beginning to end (approximately 2 months of your time, a few hours a week and some weekends).  We are interested in any time or skills you might be willing to give in order tosupport your local community theatre.  Our needs vary according to the current show.

You have the option of saying no, expressing interest does not commit you to action!

Getting involved with an Abbey Players production is a fun way to meet new people and to be part of a final product you helped create. You can sign up by requesting a volunteer form from our business office at 893-2442.  If you don't wish to participate,  but find you have a particular interest in a show we are producing, please give us a call!

The time and place to throw your hat into the ring is at our auditions. If you wish to be a part of the support staff for a show you should come to the audition, introduce yourself to the director and tell him/her of your interest.  Auditions are not just for actors.

Unless otherwise noted, auditions are held at Abbey Players' Theatre, 200South State Street, Abbeville.

    For more information call 337-893-2442
